Our history.

Starting out in a small residential basement in Gatineau, EPSI made its debut in 1995 following a project opportunity in psychometrics. André Durivage, a doctor in psychology and a businessman, and Julie Thibault, holding a master’s degree in industrial relations and a businesswoman, were able to quickly seize opportunities in psychometric evaluation and grow into a small business with roughly 20 employees in the early 2000s. Recognized for its expertise in designing scientifically proven psychometric tests for staffing employees in various fields of employment, EPSI made the leap in 2004 from the paper-and-pencil method to setting up its own online testing platform. This was a key success factor that has allowed EPSI to not only improve its efficiency and speed of test administration and scoring, but also to expand and diversify its market nationally and international.

Since then, EPSI has expanded its expertise in talent engagement and now offers its clients the administration of engagement surveys directly on its new online survey platform. With 25 years of history, its varied human resources training offerings, the quality of its consulting services, and the development of more than 50 psychometric tests, EPSI’s expertise is widely recognized in talent management, one of the most promising fields for contemporary organizations.
