Evaluating Organizational Engagement with IBM

Over the last 18 months, EPSI and IBM Kenexa have worked persistently in developing what has now become a strong partnership not only in Canada, but in the US and Europe as well. We were able to further strengthen this relationship when EPSI was invited to participate in their Engagement Survey Consultant training in Lincoln, Nebraska. The session not only gave us the opportunity to strengthen relationships with the core consulting team across North America, but also gave us a better understanding of the operationalization of surveys and the function of each resource in the team. It also gave us the chance to discover a new city… and we were pleasantly surprised!  Lincoln has plenty to offer, even when there isn’t a football or basketball game on.
In terms of the training session, it allowed us to get a rarely seen behind the scenes look at the roll-out of an Engagement Survey, from how items are selected and designed, to how executive presentations are built and how information is disseminated to employees.  We were able to learn directly from some of the top consultants how to avoid some of biggest challenges when rolling out surveys for large organizations, as well as the critical process of how to get employee buy-in on the process. Our biggest take away was learning and exploring the many ways the data could be analyzed and broken down to provide actionable insights for individual departments, regions, and organizations as a whole.  After two intense days, we left with the knowledge and understanding required to help out clients get the most out of the survey process. And we can’t wait to apply what we learned!
Engagement surveys themselves serve as a great barometer for the state of your workforce. While assessments are the ideal way to ensure that you are employing people with the necessary skills to drive your organization forward, competent employees are no longer enough to thrive in today’s economy.  Engagement surveys allow an organization to assess how much its employees are committed to and trusting of  their employer.  These surveys serve as an opportunity to get the real opinions of employees; how they perceive the way in which their organization is run, and what truly drives them to stay with the organization, and remain high performers.
If you would like to learn more about the engagement survey process and how they can help your organization, we would be happy to share some of our newly developed expertise with you! Feel free to contact us :
